What can I expect in terms of plant size?

Plant sizes vary depending on the tree. Some maples grow quickly, while others grow more slowly. We sell trees in 3-liter containers, which have been grafted in July and cared for over 14–15 months before being listed for sale on our webshop.

The height of the tree you receive will typically range between 20 and 60 cm, depending on the growth rate of the chosen cultivar. In some cases, plants may be pruned during the growing season to promote better growth, improve shape, or collect scion wood (especially for rare trees).

Please note that trees purchased in fall or winter will usually be smaller than those bought in spring or summer, as the latter benefit from an additional growing season.

What can I expect in terms of shipping?

We currently ship to Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Poland, with more countries to be added soon. If you live near Hasselt, Belgium, you can opt for a pickup during checkout.

For postal deliveries, we typically ship your trees within one week. We carefully select a healthy, attractive tree (the largest that fits the box) and ensure the trees are well-protected during transit.

While we aim to keep shipping costs as low as possible, shipping trees safely can be a bit costly. Here’s how the shipping cost breaks down:

  • 60% covers carrier fees
  • 35% goes to the sturdy boxes
  • 5% covers protective materials

To help you save, we ship up to 10 trees per box. Shipping costs are the same for 1 to 7 trees, while 8 to 10 trees incur only a small increase. For example:

  • Shipping 1 to 7 trees in Belgium: €12.95
  • Shipping 8 to 10 trees in Belgium: €14.95

If you order 11 trees, this will require a second box, increasing shipping to €27.95, and so on. Try grouping your orders to optimize shipping costs!

We ship with DPD which in most countries allows you to live track your package.
