Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy

‘Forest Pansy’ is an award-winning form of the eastern redbud, celebrated for its foliage as much as its flowers. In spring, clusters of bright pink blossoms cover the bare branches, providing a spectacular display before the foliage emerges. The large, heart-shaped leaves unfold in deep shades of purple, later softening to green and often showing flashes of orange or yellow in autumn.
