Seiryu is one of the only dissected Japanese maples with an upright growing habit. It is a vigorous grower that can reach up to 4 meters in 10 years, making it a unique variety among Japanese maples.
Its fresh green foliage deepens in color during summer, and new summer growth adds a bright green layer on top of the darker leaves. In the fall, it transitions to stunning orange and red hues.
