Like a Phoenix, it rises from the cold winter with bright, fiery leaves. It can display bright orange and red colors while the veins are yellow. In summer, it turns green, with new growth showing bright red again. In fall, Phoenix will show off bright red and orange colors once more before going back into dormancy.
It can reach up to 3 meters in height.
This is a grafted tree, which makes it a lot more durable than all the rooted cuttings that can be found in most garden centers.
