Hot Blonde was introduced by the Mr. Maple brothers in the USA. It is a hybrid between Acer oliverianum and a golden Japanese maple. It is a golden-yellow, upright Japanese maple that becomes more yellow as the season progresses. Its fall color is a fiery red. It can handle full sun very well.
