Calocedrus decurrens 'Maupin Glow'

ICNCP name: Calocedrus decurrens 'Maupin Glow'

Maupin Glow is a remarkable cultivar of incense cedar that brings brightness even in winter. New growth emerges in vivid lemon or golden yellow, contrasted by deeper green inner foliage, giving the effect of a tree that glows. Over time it retains a narrow, pyramidal or columnar habit, making it suitable in gardens where space or architectural form matters. In cooler months, the foliage may take on bronze or coppery tones, adding further seasonal variation. Use it as a vertical accent, in narrow borders, or a glowing focal point in your evergreen collection.
