Acer palmatum Koto Ito Komachi

A rare, miniature Japanese maple known for its wispy, thread-like green leaves—perfectly compact and slow-growing, reaching about 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide in 10 years. In autumn, its foliage glows yellow to orange.

It thrives in morning sun with afternoon shade and is ideal for containers or bonsai. 

The name evokes the delicate form of a five-string harp, and authentic specimens are highly prized among collectors.
