Acer palmatum Ikandi

Acer palmatum Ikandi ("Eye Candy") is a stunning variegated Japanese maple that lives up to its name—truly a feast for the eyes in every season. In spring, it emerges with nearly solid pink leaves, transitioning to green with white variegation in summer, and ending the season in glowing gold, orange, and red. It forms an upright, vase-like tree that grows to roughly 3 m tall and 1.5 m wide in 10 years, expanding further with time.

Please note: Ikandi may occasionally produce green growth, especially during periods of vigorous growth. This is a normal variation and not a defect or reversion. For best variegation, put the tree in shady areas, let it leaf out as cold as possible, avoid heavy nitrogen fertilization, and allow the plant to mature naturally over time.
