This delightful, upright shrub has tiny leaves which are very colorful in spring. In early spring, the entire tree is a bright pinkish or pink-red. The coloration is brilliant, quite noticeable in the landscape and lasts for several weeks. When placed with a dark background, it will really pop in your garden. During the summer the leaves fade to a green color, turning orange and red in the fall. It may reach up to 2.5m after 10 years.
