Red Dragon is one of my favorite red weeping Japanese maples. It is a very hardy tree that holds its red color well, even in late summer. Eventually, it will take on a darker red color, which turns bright red in fall. It can be placed in full sun or in a spot with more shade.
It is not the fastest-growing Japanese maple, but it can reach up to 2 meters in height and about 2 meters in width.
