Acer palmatum Koriba

The first time we saw 'Koriba,' we instantly bought one for our garden. In spring, the leaves are a dark red to almost black with lime-green veins. The stems and branches also have a green-yellow hue, making it an absolutely stunning Japanese maple. With a bit of sun, the leaves become more red. In summer, the leaves take on a more bronze color, while the veins remain lime-green.

And we’re not done yet! In fall, it lights up again with vibrant shades of orange, yellow, and red.
