Katsura is one of the first trees to leaf out in early spring, lighting up your garden with beautiful shades of orange and yellow.
In summer, it has a fresh green color, which will turn back to orange and red in the fall. It is a vigorous grower that can reach up to 3.5 meters in 10 years.
Due to the fact that it leafs out early, keep an eye out for late frosts when it is already in leaf. The leaves will need some protection. If grown in a container, bring the container inside. If the tree is planted, try to use a plant cover.
