Acer palmatum Crimson Queen

Crimson Queen is an excellent dissected variety. Our mothertree comes from the nursery of Dick van der Maat. He has used it to propagate his newly grafted trees, and we now use it to graft ours. One of the reasons Crimson Queen is a popular choice is the persistent, deep red color of the foliage. Fall color is a very bright scarlet.

It is a gorgeous cascading tree reaching up to 3m in height and 4m wide. It can handle full sun but afternoon shade is perfect for this tree. It will reward you with great growth and great colors.
