Beni Ubi Gohon is a small strap-leaf Japanese maple. It leaves out in spring with a bronze-like color and green veins. Come summer it will turn to a deepred color end in fall it ends up in a scarlet red color.
What makes it so unique is that it stays fairly small which makes it ideal to keep it in a container. Also the leaves are much smaller and compact. Which is unusual for a maple in the linearlobum group.
