Pinus parviflora Bergman

Pinus parviflora is known as Japanese white pine, and the cultivar ‘Bergman’ is one of its more showy and compact forms. It bears twisting, bluish-green needles that have a silvery underside, giving a shimmering appearance. It is ideal for specimen planting, in conifer collections, or in themed gardens (e.g. Japanese or zen-style). Because of its slow growth and elegant form, it allows close viewing and becomes a conversation piece.
