Hamamelis × intermedia Arnold Promise

Introduced from the Arnold Arboretum in Massachusetts, ‘Arnold Promise’ is famed for its late-season bloom, often flowering after many other witch hazels have finished. Clusters of golden, ribbon-like petals emerge on bare stems, releasing a sweet fragrance that lifts the winter garden. The upright, vase-shaped habit reaches around 3 m in height over time, with gracefully spreading branches. Foliage turns from deep green to shades of yellow and orange in autumn.
