Acer palmatum Green Trompenburg

Green Trompenburg is one of my favorite Japanese maples. When I began collecting, this variety always stood out to me in Japanese gardens and arboretums.

In spring, its leaves emerge deep green, and like the original Trompenburg, its uniquely curled leaves are deeply divided, adding to its distinct beauty.

While it’s not as commonly available as other varieties, Green Trompenburg is a remarkable addition to any maple collection, prized for its elegant form and unique foliage.
